Golconda area was under the rule of Abdul Hassan kutubshah during 1672-87. He was also named as Tanisha. He displayed immense respect towards poets and artists. Akkanna and Maadanna were two of the ministers in his court. Kshetrayya and Ramadasu also belonged to the same era. On one fine day, Tanisha, along with his followers has visited Bandar and stopped for rest in Kuchipudi village on his way. On hearing soulful music in the early morning, he sent his soldiers to fetch the singers. When the soldiers brought in the singers, Tanisha has requested them to sing. Impressed by their singing and dancing, he has donated Kuchipudi agraharam to them. Yeleswarapu, Hari, Mahankaali, Polepeddi, Vedantam, Pasumarthi, Vempati, Vallabha, Jyosyulu, Vemu jyosyulu, Bokka, Darbha and others were among the kuchipudi agraharam donated. Chintha family has migrated to this place after 1763.
